    108 Street Industrial – Corridor Rehabilitation

    Project Description: Phase One of this project was completed in November 2021. This project was comprised of upgrading the roadway, underground infrastructure, and curb/sidewalks along 108 Street. To accomplish this required the removal of the existing road surface and curb/sidewalks, installing a new sanitary water main, installing a new roadway structure, and installing new curbs and sidewalks. Phase Two will continue the project from the Bulk Water Station to CN Rail.

    Grants, Funding Source: Funding approved through 2020-2024 Capital Plan.

    2021 Project Wrap Up:

    Phase One of this project, 97 Avenue to the Bulk Water Station, was completed in November 2021, including the first lift of asphalt. The 108 Street Bulk Water Station was back in operation effective November 22, 2021.

    Start Date: April 6, 2021

    Completion Date for Phase One:  November 2021

    June 2022: The contractor will be onsite to complete warranty works and final pavement lift and landscaping.

    Phase Two continues the project from the Bulk Water Station to CN Rail.

    Anticipated Start Date for Phase Two: 2023

    Anticipated Completion Date for Phase Two: TBA
