Town of Westlock Welcomes Pembina West Co-Op’s New Cardlock Facility

Westlock, AB – The Town of Westlock is happy to welcome Pembina West Co-Op back to our community with their upcoming cardlock facility. This $3 million project is slated for completion by the end of 2024. The Town and Pembina West Co-Op have been working on this development project since 2021, and we were proud to be invited to their groundbreaking ceremony earlier this week.

The new cardlock facility will be located at 11320 100 Street and will be a state-of-the-art facility featuring an 11-lane, nine-pump layout. It will be the first to offer pay-at-the-pump services, accepting both Visa and MasterCard and serving Co-op cardholders locally and system-wide.

The new facility will also introduce several firsts for Pembina West Co-Op. It will be the first location to dispense premium gasoline and the first to include a fully enclosed, all-weather DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) dispensing station.
