NEW BUSINESS

Response to Complaints Municipal Enforcement Policy P-37-2009

  • Administration reviewed the policy and found that its guidance on responding to complaints, setting priorities, clarifying RCMP and Community Peace Officer roles, and education-focused approach is covered in service level program descriptions reviewed annually. The policy also contains outdated privacy legislation references.
  • Council rescinded the Response to Complaints Municipal Enforcement Policy No. P-37-2009..

Westlock Community Assistance Bus Policy P-86-2017

  • The Westlock Community Assistance Bus Policy was approved in 2017 and over time there have been changes to the program but the purpose remains unchanged.
  • Council adopted the amended Westlock Community Assistance Bus Policy P-86-2017 as presented.

Fire Prevention Week Proclamation

  • Council proclaimed October 4-10 as Fire Prevention Week and encouraged all residents to attend the annual October 10 Free Pancake Breakfast and Open House at the Fire Hall from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
