Welcome to the CityWide e-permitting portal, the Town of Westlock's new online application option for development and building permits.

This portal is designed to make the application process easier and more efficient, allowing you to submit and manage your applications digitally, at any time or from any place.

New for 2026

We're adding the ability to apply for and renew business licences through the online portal. We've created a user guide to help you through the process.

NOTE: If you already have a business licence with the Town of Westlock, do not apply for a new licence. Your licence will sync with your portal account if the email address you register your portal account matches what we have on file. Contact Planning & Development to troubleshoot if your licence isn't syncing after registering your portal account.

Here's the key steps you'll need to know when you are ready to apply:

Gather the documents you'll need to apply. This includes your application form(s) and any required checklists and drawings. Common application forms are found in the listing below, and a full listing of our application forms and packages can be found here.
Go to the PSD CItyWide Portal.
Create an account or log-in to your existing account.
Select the Town of Westlock as your municipality.
Click on the module button for the type of application you'd like to make:

Development Permits	Building and Safety Codes Permits	Business Licences
	Building Permit
	Electrical Permit
	Gas Permit
	Plumbing Permit

Complete the fields as prompted, then upload your documents.
Review the summary, then submit your application..
Repeat steps 5 through 7 for all applications you'd like to submit for your project.
Town staff will be in touch once they've reviewed your application with next steps, including payment of fees.
