Municipal Elections

Municipal elections in Alberta are held every four years.

In the Town of Westlock, residents elect one Mayor and six Councillors to serve a four-year term on Town Council. Council members are elected at-large, meaning they represent the entire community rather than specific neighbourhoods or wards.

The next general municipal election will take place on October 15, 2029.
