Town of Westlock Water & Sewer Services
- Safe, reliable potable water is provided by the Westlock Regional Water Services Commission, with weekly testing for bacteria and chlorine
- Meter readers, mostly remote, ensure monthly billing without entering your home.
Moving In, Moving Out, or Switching Services:
- New installations require a 48-hour notice.
- Service changes and meter disconnects require a 24-hour notice via form submission at westlock.ca.
Billing & Rates:
- Service charges for water and wastewater are reviewed annually during Council’s budget process and set by bylaw
- Bills can be paid through:
- Online or telephone banking
- Pre‑authorized payment
- In-person at Town Office (Mon–Fri, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.)
- Drop box (north entrance, after hours)
- Optionally via e‑Billing (email delivery)

Restrictions & Regulations
To maintain consistent water pressure and prevent peak demand stress on the Town’s water distribution system, the following rules apply year-round:
- Lawn sprinkling must adhere to seasonal and time-based restrictions.
- The collection of rainwater in barrels is encouraged as a conservation practice.
These measures help avoid costly upgrades to water infrastructure.
