Associated Ambulance & Services (Whitecourt) LTD. is the current contracted Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provider for the Town of Westlock and surrounding areas. We are contracted to Alberta Health Services to provide these services from April 01, 2012 to March 31, 2017. We were fortunate to retain most of the staff, equipment and the EMS Station from The Town of Westlock as we transitioned from the town. We have replaced one of the older Ambulances with a new 2012 Demers ambulance. We have maintained the same level of service as previously provided, with two (2) ALS staffed ambulances 24hours/day/seven days a week plus a mechanical back-up stationed in Westlock.
Associated Ambulance has been providing regional ambulance/EMS services to rural Albertan’s for over the past 32 years. We started in Mayerthorpe and have grown to today’s service area that covers twenty communities and surrounding areas in rural Alberta from Jasper to Lac La Biche and south to Rocky Mountain house. We operate in Westlock’s neighboring communities of Barrhead, Thorhild & Athabasca, offering additional support for the residents of Westlock and our Westlock crews.
We have two administrative offices and fleet service centers located in Mayerthorpe and Edmonton. Our Mayerthorpe office can be contacted @ (780)786-2223 and primarily deals with billing for our services and accounts payable.
