Celebrate Canada Day in Westlock with an afternoon of family fun, live entertainment, and community spirit! From exciting activities and incredible performances to a spectacular fireworks finale, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Bring your lawn chairs and celebrate with friends, family, and neighbours all day long!

PAZ brings the electric energy of the stadium to your crowd and your venue. He'll have the audience cheering like champions, doing the wave, and jumping out of their seats!

Paz thrills the crowd with outrageous one-of-a-kind circus tricks (performed with hockey equipment), acrobatics, and comedy. Paz is the only person in the world who juggles hockey sticks (and he sets them on ﬁre when he can).

Matthew and Luke Hawken mainly enjoy playing and singing at home with Luke's mom, Angela, and are starting to gain experience by playing local events.

Matt has been into music since he was a teen and likes to play guitar and mandolin. Luke started playing fiddle at 6 and got into ukulele and guitar in the last couple of years and now even writes a few songs. They like to play a mix of folk, bluegrass, old favourites and classic rock focusing on vocal harmonies and quality musicianship.

Wood Stove (Jeff Sleno) is a Canadian singer-songwriter who has called many corners of Alberta home. With a genuine love for the land, the rhymes of everyday life and the connections that tie us, he writes songs drawn from experiences and quiet reflection. He first started writing music at 17, spent his university years playing in bands, and most recently was the singer-songwriter for 'The Housemen' out of Yellowknife. Now, with a new vision and enthusiasm is stepping out as a solo artist.

His music is acoustically driven with warm, energetic guitar work that brings an upbeat and engaging feel to his honest storytelling.

Do you create handmade products, jewelry, artwork, baked goods, crafts, or run a small business you’d love to share? Join the Youth Market at the Westlock Canada Day Celebration on July 1 and showcase your creativity!

This is a fun opportunity for kids and teens to gain experience, build confidence, and share their talents in a welcoming and exciting environment. We’d love to see what you have to offer!

The Town of Westlock is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make our Westlock Canada Day Celebration on July 1 a fun and memorable day for the community!

Whether you enjoy working with families, helping behind the scenes, or being part of exciting community events, we have a role for you. Volunteers may assist with bouncy castles, yard games, activity areas, as well as event set up and clean up.

As a thank you for your time, all volunteers will receive a 1-day recreation pass to our facilities, and volunteers who contribute 5 or more hours will receive a 10-day recreation pass!
