Run 4 Slave Lake

September 17th, 2011

To show appreciation to the many Westlock and area community members that opened their homes, hearts, and wallets to the victims of the Slave Lake fires, Cleo Carifelle will be running to Westlock on Sunday, September 18.  She is expected to arrive at the Westlock Community Hall, the former location of the Slave Lake Evacuation Reception Centre, at approximately 4:30 p.m.  When she arrives she will present the community with a thank you banner that has been signed by the residents of Slave Lake and area.

Join us in welcoming and encouraging Cleo as she makes the 30 km run from Alcomdale to the Westlock Community Centre on Sunday, September 18.
